Classic Load Balancer (CLB)

Before AWS announced the Application Load Balancer (ALB), the Classic Load Balancer (CLB) was known as the Elastic Load Balancer (ELB). Now AWS uses Elastic Load Balancer (ELB) to refer to the collection of load balancers, which includes the Classic Load Balancer (CLB), Application Load Balancer (ALB), and Network Load Balancer (NLB).
