AWS Service Categories
AWS Service Categories are used to organize AWS Services. AWS has continually modified their list of AWS Service Categories. Some major examples include:
At one point there was an AWS Service called “Machine Learning”, but now there is an entire AWS Service Category called Machine Learning.
The Game Tech category was once called Game Development
The Security and Identity category has been renamed Security, Identity & Compliance.
The Containers category was added, and took some services from the Compute category.
The list below includes current and legacy AWS Service Categories.
